Gothic quartier, Barcelona, Spain
In a forgotten square of the gothic quartier, a project is proposed to increase the quality of the public space.
Using the original structure of the square, the project proposes a new kind of vegetation as a transitable sculpture.
The vegetal elements appear from several points of the surface following a conductor line (light cables) of a new spatial threath that links the surrounding buildings, drawing straight lines in the opening that lets the sky appears.
The sight of the visitor raises to discover each architectonical element and follows it till finding the sky. During the night the lines lit creating a light game in the plaza.
