Tropical forest´s patch | Pacific Coast Mexico
Our tropical forests have been transformed by humans, modifying natural landscapes characterized as significant areas of biodiversity with high ecological dynamics into small green patches inserted within human made environments.
The aim of the project is to reflect and re-imagine new sensitive approaches of the concept of –patch-. Patch as a mosaic of small sub-ecosystems, a conceptual approach to biodiversity and habitats that emphasizes heterogeneity and dynamics within a natural system.
The project explores the relationship between human being and natural environments. Body and landscapes, timescapes, exploration of biological processes and biodiversity are the main concepts to be searched within the artistic project.
