Ivan Juarez initiates the research and creation project titled “FOODSCAPES: Project-Based Learning from Community Practices in Food and Cultivation”. The project will be developed around two key Mexican regions and their community-based gastronomic practices: Solar Maya | Yucatán Peninsula and Cacao Plantation | Grijalva River Region, Tabasco.


The project is being developed as part of the National System of Art Creators (SNCA)
The National System of Art Creators (SNCA) is a program in Mexico that supports outstanding artists across various disciplines by providing grants and recognition to encourage artistic creation and development.


Supported by: The SNCA is managed by FONCA (National Fund for Culture and the Arts), which is now part of the Ministry of Culture of Mexico.
